England vs India ODI series: Will Kohli strike gold?

India vs England 3-match ODI series is all set to begin from tomorrow onwards, Thursday, July 12.

The first match will be played at Trent Bridge, England.

After a triumphant victory for India in the T20I series against English men, India would look forward to grabbing the top spot in ICC ODI Rankings.

English players would also try their best to win over the visitors.

Will KL Rahul strike a century yet again?

KL Rahul’s unbeaten 101 to led India to an eight-wicket win over England and take a 1-0 lead in the 3-match T20I series at Old Trafford in Manchester on Tuesday.

With the century Rahul became the second Indian to blast two T20I centuries.

Moreover, Rohit Sharma was the star of the night at the third match of T20Is against England and his 89-run stand with Virat Kohli put India on course for a win. After Kohli fell for 43, Rohit stepped up and he was well supported by Hardik Pandya.

Will Pandya be the game changer?

Rohit completed his third century and along with Pandya’s batting, helped India win the match by seven wickets and win the decider match of the series.

Rohit Sharma scored an excellent century and a batting cameo by Hardik Pandya helped India win the match.

On the other hand, England had a great start by Buttler but Roy lost his wicket. Siddarth Kaul rescued India by getting the wicket of dangerous Jos Buttler who had to depart for 34 runs.

Jason Roy smashed balls out of the boundary from the other end even after the departure of Buttler and got England their 100 runs very quickly. Deepak Chahar struck for India and got the wicket of Roy caught by MS Dhoni.

Hardik also returned figures of 38/4 in the third T20I against England. He would certainly be a force to reckon in the ODI series as well.

Alex Hales would be a player to watch out for

Alex Hales’ can’t be forgotten. His undefeated 58 off 41 balls directed England to victory in the second T20I and come at par with India 1-1 in Cardiff.

Indian captain Virat Kohli said: “They did their homework and played really well.

It changed the momentum in the middle overs and that was the difference.”Hence, it would be an interesting game for both the teams and spectators would get to thoroughly enjoy it.
