ENGLISH FANS BLOCK BUS, STARTS CHANTING”WHERE’S YOUR KOHLI NOW”

India was defeated in the first test of the 5 match series by England. England fans did not spare but rather mocked the squad while they were on their way back to the team hotel via bus.
After England triumphed by 31 runs in the first Test match, the English cricket fans started chanting ‘where’s your Kohli now?’ as Team India was leaving in the bus.
In the video which has now viral on social media sites, they can be seen blocking the way of the bus and saying ‘balle balle’ even as Indian fans try to cheer for their side.

This incident comes after Kohli’s ‘mic drop celebration’ post-dismissal of Joe Root in England’s first innings.

It should also be recalled that even the Indian fans had made a song on Virat Kohli after his heroics early in the Test, “We’ve got Kohli, Virat Kohli, I just don’t think you understand, he’s MS Dhoni’s man, he smashes Pakistan, we’ve got Virat Kohli!”

EXCLUDING KOHLI, NO OTHER INDIAN BATSMEN PERFORMED

The chase was always going to be a tough one as the Edgbaston pitch was assisting the seam bowlers thoroughly. Though the chase was not that big but still no other batsman, excluding Virat Kohli, could resist in the middle. Kohli was the lone warrior for India with the bat as he got past a hundred in the first innings and a half-century in the second while none of the other batsmen breached the 30 run mark individually.

CHANGES IN THE PLAYING 11 EXPECTED

Before the second Test, skipper Kohli is expected to continue the trend of making changes in the playing XI. On the other hand, England will have forced changes as Ben Stokes won’t be available for selection due to his court case. Adil Rashid might also be excluded from the team as he wasn’t given a longer run to bowl in the first Test.

The second Test of the series, which kicks off on August 9, will be played at Lord’s.
