TENDULKAR-MIDDLESEX ALL SET TO LAUNCH A CRICKET ACADEMY

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has come together with Middlesex Cricket to launch an academy for young children both boys and girls.

The academy is all set to provide training for children ranging from 9-14. The curriculum will be designed and developed by the coaches and Tendulkar, who is the world’s top run-scorer.

“I am very happy to be partnering with Middlesex Cricket on this new journey. The objective of this academy is not only to produce good cricketers but also good global citizens of the future. Our aim through this association is to provide the very best in the cricket world, as much as possible, for our students,” said Tendulkar.

CAMP VISION

Sachin Tendulkar and Middlesex Cricket together combine record-breaking success on field, with 150 years of experience off the field. The camp provides an amazing opportunity to learn new skills, improve hugely as a cricketer, meet and be coached by Middlesex Cricket professional players and the Middlesex Cricket high-performance staff in an entirely supporting and caring environment.

Merchant Taylor’s School in Northwood will be the host to the Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy’s first cricket camp from Aug. 6-9 followed by other locations in Mumbai and London.

Previously, Middlesex Cricket has produced players such as Andrew Strauss, Mike Gatting, Denis Compton, John Emburey and Mike Brearley.

TMGA will also be providing 100% scholarship to the talented underprivileged children.

The academy would also be providing Goodie Bags, Complimentary Junior Middlesex Cricket Membership; Middlesex Cricket merchandise; Nike kit for the camp; and much more.

Tendulkar scored 15,921 runs in 200 Tests between 1989 and 2013, including 51 tons.
