A long partnership for the third wicket between Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli came to an end on a high note today as the visitors lead by 466 runs at tea on Day 3 of the third Test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Kohli got his second century this tournament. While Kohli scored 103 runs before being getting out, Pujara also contributed a huge part by hitting 72 runs. After the humiliating morning session for the England squad, both the Indian batsmen made it even tougher for the English players to take a wicket. This time the weather condition was in the favour of the Indian team. On the other hand, the England players looked very much helpless against the batting combination of Virat and Pujara.

After Pujara’s wicket, the Indian skipper and Rahane made an unbeaten 46-run partnership and increased the scorecard to even higher level.
