Shami and Hasan Jahan in a legal dispute

The Indian cricketer and Hasan Jahan are currently fighting a legal dispute against each other. It all started earlier this year in March when Shami’s wife publicly accused the pace bowler of adultery. She posted screenshots of Shami’s conversations with other women on social media.

Jahan then went on to claim that that the seamer had indulged in match-fixing as well. This lead to BCCI withholding Shami’s annual contract and the cricket board also made a through enquiry about the match-fixing allegations. But the board didn’t find anything against the bowler and he was eventually granted the annual contract.

Shami questioned mental health of Jahan

When Shami was asked about the allegations made by his wife, he had responded in the past by questioning the mental health of Jahan.

However the fast bowler is doing fine on the cricket field and was India’s second highest wicket-taker in the England series.
