Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal: The going has been tough for leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal in the ongoing year but he is an absolute match-winner when it comes to consistently picking wickets in the limited overs format and he has shown that time and again both for Team India and while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). During a recent conversation, Chahal revealed the name of the IPL team he would like to play for other than RCB in the IPL.

Yuzvendra Chahal To Play for CSK?

Incidentally, Yuzvendra Chahal was first associated with the Mumbai Indians (MI) and he had to wait until 2013 to make his IPL debut and he played just one game for the five-time IPL winners. The leggie was then picked by RCB in 2014 and has since picked up a total of 125 wickets. However, during a recent a Q/A session with CricTracker, Chahal revealed that he would like to play for the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) if given a choice other than RCB.

During the same interactive session, Chahal was also asked a really tough question as he had to pick the better captain between Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Incidentally, the Haryana-born leggie made his international debut under the captaincy of MS Dhoni against Zimbabwe in 2016 but since then he has also played most part of his career in Virat Kohli’s leadership both for India and RCB and it had to be a really difficult choice to make. Eventually, Chahal answered that both Kohli and Virat are good captains.
