Shikhar Dhawan Dance: After a staggering home season against England where Team India registered magnificent series wins across the three formats of the game, the players have switched on the entertaining Indian Premier League (IPL) mood. The 14th edition of the global T20 cricketing carnival will kickstart with the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 9 in Chennai. However, before the start of the tournament, India’s senior opener Shikhar Dhawan has already set the stage on fire while performing his favourite dance moves with Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma.

In a recent video going viral on the internet, Dhawan is seen doing his traditional “Bhangra in Gabbar style” with famous choreographer Dhanashree Verma. The Indian opener is often seen celebrating a catch with his iconic ‘Gabbar Style’ celebration on the field and in this video, Dhawan is spotted enjoying to the core while showing off his wonderful bhangra moves with teammate Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife. The video posted on Dhanashree’s Instagram profile has already received over 7 lakh likes so far.

 

Incidentally, Dhanashree was part of the bio-secure bubble during the IND vs ENG white-ball series to support her husband Yuzvendra Chahal in these challenging times. She has also travelled with Yuzvendra for the IPL 2021 in Chennai.

IPL 2021: Shikhar Dhawan aiming to earn his place back in India’s T20I playing XI

After being dropped from the playing XI due to poor performance in the 1st T20I match against England, Dhawan made an excellent comeback with two brilliant half-centuries in the ODI series. However, the southpaw opener who will be playing for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021 will be focusing to have a remarkable T20 season in order to earn his place back in the Indian playing XI for the T20 World Cup scheduled to be held later this year in India. The Delhi Capitals will face the Chennai Super Kings in their first match on April 10 in Mumbai.
