SL vs IND 2nd ODI: Possible Playing 11 of Sri Lanka


SL Playing 11: Sri Lanka will face India in the second ODI of the series here at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The hosts will be disappointed the way they played in the first match. They were outclassed in all departments by a second-string Indian side which showed their utter dominance. With just a one day gap between the first and second match, Sri Lanka have their task cut out. They quickly needs to readdress themselves to level the series. India leads the head-to-head record in ODIs over Sri Lanka 92-56.

Isuru Udana bowled just 2 overs and went for 27 runs as Prithvi Shaw took him apart. He is likely to be replaced by Kasun Rajitha.

SL needs a big score from one of their top order batsmen. Opener Avishka Fernando looked brilliant in his 33 but will be expected to play a big innings. Dhananjaya de Silva is a good player of spin in the middle order. Chamika Karunaratne’s innings with the bat was one of the positives for SL in the last match. In bowling, Dushmantha Chameera and Wanindu Hasaranga will be the key.
