Two changes expected for Sri Lanka in 3rd ODI

The Sri Lanka team lost the ODI series against India and have certainly lost the confidence. The Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanka has hinted on two changes for the 3rd ODI. In the 2nd ODI, the team batted well and posted a good score on the boardd, but the bowlers could not defend the score.

Ahead of the 3rd ODI, during a press briefing, Shanaka has given the updates about the team that will play against India in 3rd ODI. The fast bowler Kasun Rajitha injured himself and will not be availble for 3rd ODI. Here is the tweet posted by media agency,

The top-oder batsman Bhanuka Rajapaksa sustained an injury during the 2nd ODI, but has recovered and will be a part of the Playing 11. The official account of Sri Lanka Cricket posted an update about Bhanuka Rajapaksa.

What Charith Asalanka said on loss in 2nd ODI?

The top run-scorer for the team, with the contribution of 65, Charith Asalanka provided a hindsight to the team’s environment after the loss.

“We’re all emotional – the team and coaches are all emotional. We’re a young team. We haven’t won much recently, and we’re trying to do our best to play together for our country. Everyone tried hard and took it to the final over, but unfortunately we couldn’t win,” Asalanka said after the game.
