That one must have hurt!

Ben Stokes is known for being aggressive on and off the field. He missed the second match of the ongoing Test match because of his trial on charges outside a bar in Bristol a year ago.

He was cleared of the charges and he took the field in the very next match where he stitched a 64-runs with his teammate Jos Buttler and smashed a half-century.

But in the fourth Test match, it was not his performance which garnered attention but an incident which became a talking point of the Test match in Southampton.

Stoked ended up landing a punch on Adil Rashid’s nose unintentionally while he was hugging Moeen Ali on Day 4.

In a tweet which has been posted by a fan on social media, Stokes runs to celebrate Ajinkya Rahane’s wicket after Moeen Ali trapped the Indian batsman in front of the wickets.

Here’s the Video:

England won the fourth Test against India by 60 runs and also clinched the series by 3-1 with one match still remaining to be played at Oval in London.

Moeen Ali shone with the ball for England as he returned with a nine-fer. He picked five wickets in the first innings and he continued to weave magic with his spells in the second inning as well and took four wickets to leave the visitors under pressure.

Chasing a target of 245, India lost its wickets early and slipped to 22 for 3. However, Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane tried to resurrect the innings and stitched a partnership of 101 runs. But once both the batsmen went back to pavilion, Indian team crumbled.

Only Kohli and Rahane stood firmly between India and England’s victory, so once England got the better of Rahane, Stokes couldn’t control his excitement and ended up hurting his teammate unintentionally.

Now, England will be meeting India for the fifth and the last Test match of the series on September 7.
