Binny’s Day Out:

Stuart Binny who is currently enjoying his stint in the ongoing edition of the Karnataka Premier League with Belagavi Panthers in the T20 league grabbed a spectacular catch against Bellary Tuskers.

Just when the ball seemed to be going over the boundary, Binny took the catch with his left hand to dismiss T Pradeep.

Binny has been one of the key players of the side. He has bagged five wickets and has scored 37 runs so far in the tournament. Interestingly, Binny’s catch came at a moment when Belagavi Panthers needed 23 runs. After Binny’s catch, Tuskers lost their last wicket in the very next ball and Belagavi Panthers won the match by 22 runs.

Panthers’ skipper Stuart Binny added a useful 31 runs to the scoreboard and he also took two wickets after conceding 27 runs.

With this win, Belagavi Panthers have opened their account in the points table and they now sit on the fourth spot in the points table.

Binny had last played an international game for India in 2016 against West Indies. West Indies opener Evin Lewis smashed Binny for five sixes in an over and he was dropped from the playing XI in the very next match and later on, he was dropped from the national team as well.

Binny made his debut in 2014 against New Zealand and he has played 6 Tests, 14 ODIs and 3 T20Is in his career so far.
