Vijay Mallya, former owner of IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore was spotted at the Oval during the on-going fifth Test between India and England.
The Indian businessman is currently undergoing a case in United Kingdom to prevent being extradited to India. The Indian government and CBI wants Mallya for the investigation of the charges of fraud and money laundering amounting to Rs 9,000 crore leveled on him.
Mallya was spotted at the Oval during the first day of the Test match. He came in the afternoon when India was batting in the first innings. In the video which is being circulated in the media, Mallya is seen getting out of his car and walking towards the stadium gate where he shows his ticket to the security guard and then moves ahead for the security check. He also shows a thumbs up to the cameras.

The media tried to have a dialogue with Mallya but he said that he is not going to give any media interviews at a cricket match.
Mallya has always shown a keen interest in cricket. He watched India’s matches during the last year’s Champions Trophy tournament which was held in England. He also owned the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premiere League.
England scored 332 runs in their first innings and then secured a lead of 40 runs by restricting India to 292 runs. The hosts are now in a dominating position as in the second innings they have reached 114 for two wickets at stumps on day three.
Alastair Cook who is playing his last Test innings is batting solidly on 46 while the skipper Joe Root is on 29 runs and has looked assuring during his stay at the crease. India would be hoping that the crumbling pitch offers some assistance to Ravindra Jadeja who will be looking to cast a web of spin around England batsman.
