The T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place in UAE and Oman later in the year and will be hosted by BCCI. The teams have organized bilateral series to prepare the players for the showpiece tournament, and to have the best performing 15 players in their squad. The West Indies team have brought back players like Lewis, Gayle, Pollard, Russel, and Bravo who have optimum experience in the T20 cricket. The South Africa team has De Kock, Miller in the batting unit, and Rabada-Nortje as pacers, with no.1 T20 bowler Tabraiz Shamsi as the confirmed picks for the T20 World Cup.
Pollard facing Rabada, has always been a treat to watch, whether in IPL or at the international stage. This time, Pollard was doing, what he does every now and then, push himself forward for a single towards the leg side. Pollard was advancing and couldn’t make his bat reach on a swinger off Rabada and he cleaned him up. Pollard has been looking off his touch lately, and has to step up to boost the middle order with his experience and hard hitting. If Pollard would have scored even a bit from his side, the game could have been in WI’s hands.

The visitors, South Africa have gained a fine momentum after winning 2 consecutive T20Is. The batters have been impressive for the team, with De Kock and Dussen being the top run-scorer. While, the bowlers have picked the wickets at most crucial times and have certainly benefitted of performing in the pressure moments. It will take a lot of effort from the top batsmen of West Indies to make a comeback in the series and will have to be at their best in the middle-order.
