Delhi Daredevils’ Rishabh Pant became the second youngest to score an IPL hundred and he became the youngest to cross the mark of 1000 runs in the tournament.
The 20-year old hit his maiden century off just 56 balls. He played an innings of unbeaten 128 off just 63 balls which was studded with 15 fours and 7 sixes. He scored 26 runs off Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s last over and helped his team post a competitive total of 187/5 in their 20 overs.
Moreover, he also became the first Indian to slam a century as the other two centuries have come from Shane Watson (CSK) and Chris Gayle (KXIP), who are overseas players.
