AUS Playing 11: After registering their first win on the tour, Australia will face West Indies in the final T20I match here at St. Lucia. Not much has gone right for the visitors this series but they showed fight in the last game. Their batters put runs on the board while their bowlers held their nerves to win a thriller. Despite this being a dead rubber, Australia will look to gain some confidence going into the ODI series. West Indies leads the head-to-head record in T20Is 9-6 over Australia.

Team News

  • Australia could bring back Josh Hazlewood in place of Riley Meredith who proved to be expensive in the last game.
  • Middle-order batsman Ben McDermott might also replace Alex Carey from the last match.

Finch’s fifty was a massive relief for the Australians in the last game and he will be looking to get a big score here. Mitchell Marsh has been in good form this season with both bat and ball. The middle and lower order has been unable to get quick runs towards the end and that will be a worry. In bowling, Adam Zampa showed his skills in the middle overs with 2-20. Mitchell Starc was at his best to deny Andre Russell from getting 11 runs off the final over.
