WI Playing 11: Hosts West Indies will face South Africa in the 2nd T20I of the series here at Grenada. Two different formats and two contrasting performances, WI has proved this right. After being completely outplayed in the Test series, they came back strongly and won the first T20I without any fuss. In the current head-to-head record, South Africa leads 6-5. But with several seasoned T20 players in the West Indies team, they look like a formidable side ahead of the World T20.

Almost all the WI players performed and contributed in the win in the series opener. They are likely to continue their winning combination.

WI Playing 11 (likely)

Andre Fletcher
Evin Lewis
Chris Gayle
Nicholas Pooran (wk)
Kieron Pollard (C)
Jason Holder
Andre Russell
Dwayne Bravo
Fabian Allen
Kevin Sinclair
Obed McCoy

One reason WI have been so strong in this format is the presence of their world-class T20 players who play T20 cricket all over the world. The return of form for Evin Lewis who struck 7 sixes in the last match was a big positive for them. The presence of Gayle, Pollard and Russell makes them a dangerous team for the opposition. Bowlers also did a great job restricting SA to 160 in the last game.
