ZIM vs BAN Stats : Zimbabwe will host Bangladesh for one off the Test match at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo from this Wednesday, 7 July onwards. This is the first time these two teams will play against each other in Zimbabwe since 2013. Although in recent years Zimbabwe have toured Bangladesh for many times and did decently there. Host Zimbabwe recently hosted Pakistan for two Tests series in which they couldn’t perform up to their potential and it’s another good opportunity for them to do well in this format. In the last eight years (Since January 2013) Zimbabwe have played only 27 Tests and in which they registered only four wins and most of them have come against Bangladesh. The fewer number of Test matches is one of the main reasons why Zimbabwe haven’t progressed in this format for a long time.
