Mahendra Singh Dhoni showed his vintage form in this IPL and scored 455 runs at a strike rate of 150 in the XI edition of the Indian Premier League.
Talking about Chennai Super Kings' victorious IPL campaign at the Star Reimagine Awards, the legendary player opened up about his changed mindset.

“I was quite sure that I wanted to bat up the order because me batting down the order was like quicksand. Of course, I wanted to take the responsibility of winning the game, but I was coming so down the order, that I was not able to give time to myself,” he said.
Dhoni also said that he wanted to make a team where he could have batted deep, everybody should be able to bat and would give him an opportunity to go out and express himself.
Dhoni is currently enjoying some time off after leading CSK to glory. Chennai Super Kings had returned this year after being suspended for two years.
The 36-year would next be playing during India's limited-overs tour of Ireland and England slated to start from June 27.
