KLassy century from KL Rahul

Both the Kings XI openers had a cautious start to their innings without taking much risk. The important aspect of their partnership was they scored at more than 8 runs per over in the powerplay with risk free cricket. KL Rahul had just faced 18 deliveries for his 23 runs.

He lost his opening partner Mayank Agarwal to a brilliant wrong’un from Yuzvendra Chahal but KL Rahul kept going hard at one end and teed off in the back end of the innings. He was blasting the bowlers for fun and showed no mercy towards the RCB bowlers as he scored 62 runs from his last 20 balls.

He was showing the range of shots that he possess and made up for all the cautious start. He was also dropped twice by Virat Kohli when KL Rahul was in 83 and 88 that has cost them well and over 50 runs.
