Career Turning Point
Mendis started his professional first-class career for Bloomfield Cricket Club in the Premier League Tournament of 2015 wherein he hit 459 runs at an average of 30.60 to garner attention of national selectors. He scored handsomely in the Moin-ud-Dowlah three-day tournament to earn National call up.
