LAL vs SAS DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:

San Antonio Spurs host Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA match at the AT&T Center, in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday.

San Antonio Spurs:

San Antonio Spurs succumbed to their first home defeat this season with Indiana Pacers winning 116-96 at AT&T Center on Friday.

Spurs lost all the four quarters and couldn’t cope with the athleticism of Pacers throughout the match. While in the post-match interview, Gregg Popovich lamented the poor decisions and the marking made by his players in the crucial moments. But it’s the same problem surfacing in every match as the Silver and Black rank last in the NBA in defensive rating (122.7) and evidently, there are no signs of improvement on that end of the court.

The Pacers’ bench clearly made the difference during the game and were way ahead than the Spurs’ second unit. Only Marco Belinelli touched the double-digit score from the bench for Spurs while Indiana had four players from the 2nd unit dropping more than 10 points in the match.

The match against Lakers could be decided by the players not starting the match as LeBron James’ team do have some game-changers on the bench.

Los Angeles Lakers:

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers won their 2nd successive game with a 121-114 victory over the previously unbeaten Denver Nuggets. This was also Lakers’ first win at the Staples Center this season with the previous two ending in defeats.

LeBron James was the trailblazer in his team’s big win as he had a triple-double in the match. The 3-times MVP scored a game-high 28 points, to go with 11 assists and 11 rebounds in the match.

Regular Season Record-
San Antonio Spurs: W-2, L-2
Los Angeles Lakers: W-2, L-3

Players to watch out for:

San Antonio Spurs:

DeMar DeRozan – Gregg Popovich never wanted to part ways with Kawhi Leonard. But the 2014 finals MVP did change his loyalties to Toronto Raptors in the off-seaosn. But, so far this season, DeMar DeRozan has more than met the expectations. He is averaging 26.5 points per games this season which is remarkable.

LaMarcus Aldridge – The Texas-born Power-Forward is Spurs’ player for every situation. The 33-year-old former Blazers is averaging more than 21 points this season while his contribution of 12.5 rebounds and 1.5 defensive blocks rank first for Spurs so far this season.

Los Angeles Lakers –

LeBron James – The 3-times NBA MVP had the triple-double against Denver Nuggets to help Lakers to their 2nd successive win. Still some way short of the surreal heights he touched last season with Cleveland Cavaliers, but this is his new team and the cohesion work is going on. He will explode. Definitely.

Kyle KuzmaHe has flourished in the absence of suspended Brandon Ingram. The 23-year-old is averaging in the 20s and could be your star fantasy player.

LAL vs SAS DREAM11 TEAM NEWS:
San Antonio Spurs:
Injured – Dejounte Murray, Lonnie Walker IV and Derrick White all have been ruled out of the match due to injury.
Questionable – None

Los Angeles Lakers:

Questionable – None.
However, Rajon Rondo is once again available for selection after serving his suspension. But he may not be handed a straight start but is expected to be given minutes from the bench.
Suspended – Brandon Ingram will be serving the last of his four-game suspension for his atrocious behaviour against Houston Rockets.

LAL vs SAS DREAM11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

Los Angels Lakers are finally looking like a cohesive team with Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart both shining brightly in the absence of suspended Brandon Ingram and Rajon Rondo. They are on a two-game winning streak and will aim to make it three in this match.

But San Antonio Spurs have beaten them once already this season. DeMar DeRozan is racking up points at will at the moment. The match could be decided by the points scored by the bench of either team in this match. At this moment, Lakers look well-stocked in that department.

Lakers to win the match.
