Scotland vs Windies- ICC World Cup Qualifiers

The ICC World Cup Qualifiers has moved on to Super Sixes round and tomorrow Windies and Scotland will lock horns together. Windies tops the points table with 3 wins in 4 matches while Scotland sits at third place with 2 wins in 4 matches. It is a very crucial game for both the teams. If we look for the key players in tomorrow’s clash, Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Evin Lewis, Marlon Samuels, Kemar Roach and Jason Holder will play a significant role in Windies innings. While Shai Hope, Evin Lewis, and Marlon Samuels were the heroes in the last match against Zimbabwe, Chris Gayle and Hetmyer have played match-winning innings in the group matches. Jason Holder and Kemar Roach will have to lead with the ball.

Scotland was undefeated in the group stage. However, it hasn’t performed so in the super sixes stage. They will mostly rely upon skipper Kyle Coetzer, Richie Berrington, and wicketkeeper Matthew Cross. They have consistently scored runs. In the bowling department, SM Sharif has taken 18 wickets in 9 matches for Scotland while M Watt has provided 12 breakthroughs in 10 matches.

North Vs South- North-South Series

The second ODI of North-South Series will be played tomorrow. South easily won the first ODI by 63 runs and would try to seize the 3-matches series by taking 2-0 lead tomorrow. This is a must-win game for North if they want to keep the series alive. While there were all-around performances from everyone in North, Nick Gubbins’s century, and Daniel Bell Drummond and Delray Rawlins’s half-centuries took the game away from North.

With Nick Gubbins, Delray Rawlins and Daniel Bell Drummond’s spectacular knocks South posted 347 runs on the scoreboard. Saqib Mahmood took 5 wickets haul for North. In response, skipper Steven Mullaney, Sam Hain, Joe Clarke and Brett D’Oliviera managed to get only 284 runs on board. Sam Curran and Dominic Bess took 3 wickets each for South.
