PV Sindhu is India’s ace shuttler who has made the country proud in a very short span of time. The 24-year old was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana) on 5th July 1995 and worked under one of India’s finest Pullela Gopichand.

She made her debut in the year 2009 and rose to prominence shortly. She currently sits 6th in the World rankings and has even held the 2nd spot in the year 2017 which was her best. Talking about her career record, she has 323 wins along with 137 losses against her name from 460 matches in singles competition. Along with the mentioned wins, she has held 15 career titles.
