Sharmila Tagore Husband: Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi

The two genres of cricket and Bollywood always walked parallelly and their love stories have always been a center of entertainment. While Tagore was a huge cricket fan, on the other side, Mansoor had no clue about Bollywood. The duo met through a mutual friend in Delhi.

The Bollywood diva lost her heart to the dashing Pataudi Nawab. She was attracted to cricketer’s great sense of humor. He gifted her a refrigerator(which was considered a big thing at that time), but she wasn’t ready to say yes yet. They dated for years before the Bengali beauty said yes. Sharmila converted herself to Islam and became Ayesha Sultana. They got married in 1969 in a true royal ceremony.
