Bajrang Punia Wrestler Born on 26 February 1994, Bajrang Punia is a freestyle Indian wrestler who competes in 65 kg weight category. Punia has won three medals at the World Wrestling Championships.
Bajrang won Silver medal at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships and also claimed World No. 1 ranking in 65 kg category.
His father and brother were both once wrestlers

Punia was born on 26 February 1994 in Khudan village of Jhajjar district of Haryana. Bajrang began wrestling at the age of seven and was encouraged by his father to take up the sport as the profession.
In 2015, the whole family moved to Sonepat district so that Bajrang can attend a regional centre of Sports Authority of India.
Currently, Bajrang works in Indian Railways as a Gazetted officer OSD Sports.
