The biggest T20 carnival of West Indies is here. It is the start of the seventh season of Caribbean Premier League which will see a pivotal clash between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and the three-time plus defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders.
This game will take place at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad at 04:30 AM IST on September 5th. Both teams will be raring to go and take an early advantage on the very first day of the competition.
Trinbago Knight Riders were triumphant in the last season for the second time on the trot. They defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by 8 wickets in the finals courtesy Colin Munro’s blazing knock of unbeaten 68 from just 39 deliveries.
On the other hand, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots were in the playoffs last season and finished 3rd. They will definitely look to go one step further this season and ascertain their dominance with a new-look side.

Skipper Carlos Brathwaite led the Windies in the recently concluded T20I series against India. He has 310 runs to his name from 27 innings and scalped 31 wickets.
Sheldon Cottrell has 24 scalps from 16 matches in T20Is. He was the best bowler in the World Cup 2019 for Windies.
