As a precursor to England’s upcoming tour of New Zealand, they get a chance to get acclimatized with the conditions and get used to the pitches by playing a practice game.
The two teams have developed quite the rivalry off-late after the World cup final this year between the two teams was won by England on the count of fours hit by them after the game and the super over ended in a tie.
The tour and this game is a big opportunity for sides to sort out their t-20 squad before the world cup next year.
England will play 5 t-20s and 2 test matches in their upcoming tour and will be looking at finding a way to beat NZ who are a difficult side to beat at home
Venue: Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln Date and Time: October 27, 2019 6:30 AM GMT
The small grounds and flat pitches have been a hallmark of the New Zealand pitches off late. The ball will swing though in the first few over of the game and will assist with the new ball.
