NOP vs POR Dream11: A lot was expected from both New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers when the 2019-20 season started. So far, it has been anything but doing justice to the hopes and expectations the fans of each faction put on their teams.
However in Pelicans’ case. it’s understandable that they find themselves in a period of stasis, for not only they lost superstar Anthony Davis to Los Angeles Lakers in the offseason, but also started the season without their no-1 draft pick Zion Williamson. Now they are inconsistent and suffer occasional hiccups against the teams they could have easily got over had Willimaosn been available for a full stretch.
But it’s unfathomable why Portland Trail Blazers are in this situation. NBA pundits, the fans and the statisticians will all come up with special things to highlight the real problem, but we are talking about a team that maintained most of its roster which made to the Western Conference finals last season. The Blazers have to buckle-up sooner than later, or they could find themselves in the playoffs chasing pack.

New Orleans Pelicans improved its record after a 108-100 win over the Golden State Warriors in the last game. It was Pelicans’ 3rd win in the last six-game.

Brandon Ingram: Though he is questionable for this game, he is worth mentioning. The former Los Angeles Lakers star is leading the charge for the Pelicans this season with 25.9 points per game this season.
CJ McCollum: Still not at the level he performed right thought out the last season, but the last two games could use an indicator that he may be returning to his top form. His average for the season is 21.0 points per game.
Jrue Holiday: If Ingram is not fit to face the Blazers, expect him to be the main man for the Pelicans. He has scored points at 17.2 per game so far.
Hassan Whiteside: He guarantees points. Include him in your Dream11 teams.

Pelicans could rival the Dubs for the injury list these days. Two players are certainly out, while seven players are on the questionable list and will be evaluated before the game.
