The Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has taken a dig at the controversial commentator Sanjay Manjrekar in a funny banter in twitter

Sanjay Manjrekar unhappy with KL Rahul bagging MOM award

India thrashed New Zealand in the 2nd T20I to gain a big lead 2-0 in the 5-match T20I series. Indian bowlers played a key role in setting up an easy India win. The Indian bowlers restricted the Kiwi batsmen to a paltry 132 runs, which India then chased down inside 18 overs.

KL Rahul top-scored for India with yet another half-century and stayed till the end to take India home comfortably. Sanjay Manjrekar who is known for his controversial comments had tweeted saying that the man of the match should have been given to a bowler.

Jadeja bowls tight spell

The Indian all-rounder who was preferred ahead of the T20I specialist Washington Sundar returned with magical figures of 4 overs for 18 runs and 2 wickets which included the all-important wicket of the Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson and the big-hitting Colin de Grandhomme.

The Indian skipper introduced Jadeja in the 11th over on the New Zealand innings and Jadeja completed his 4 over quota in the last half of the New Zealand innings without giving away many runs which itself is an excellent achievement.

By seeing Sanjay’s tweet Jadeja pulled Sanjay’s legs by asking him to reply to the bowler which he wanted to get the MOM.

Sanjay Manjrekar replied with a diplomatic tweet quoting Jadeja’s tweet
