Saina Nehwal has brought the Indian Women Badminton on the international scene and she is definitely the flag bearer of Indian Women Badminton.

Born in Hisar Haryana, Saina Nehwal was the first Indian shuttler to hold the World number one ranking. She has won 24 singles titles in her ravishing career which includes 11 Superseries titles. She holds the record of being only the second Indian to hold the World number one ranking after Prakash Padukone.

She has many accolades to her name which also includes an Olympic Bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics and 2 individual Gold medals in the 2010 and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
