The season was abrupted by the coronavirus back in January but the league organizers came back with the second phase in a bid to complete the campaign.
Bayi Rockets are the worst team in the league at the moment, and regardless of what happen in the last round, they are destined to finish the campaign at the bottom. As things stand, Rockets are last on the power ranking with a 5-39 return. But this team is on a decent run, as three of those wins came in the second phase. Rockets can’t qualify for the playoffs, so this is effectvely the end of the season for them.
Shenzhen Aviators are through to the playoffs, so they ahve eveything to play for. But Aviators, aka Leopards, can’t go into the playoffs on the current run, for they dropped six of the last nine games. That’s a disaster return for any team at anu stage in the season. Aviators could do with a win in their final regular season match.
