Neroli Meadows is an Australian TV presenter. She has been one of the presenter in IPL for quite some years now.
She was born on 16 September 1985 in Western Australia. Her older brothers are also famous in Australian fraternity. Ross Meadows has played Hockey for Australia while Ian Meadows is famous for his role in Home and away.
She brought up in Collie and had the aspirations to take up journalism from the very young age. She completed a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Curtin University and did a diploma in broadcasting from West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She also spent some time at the University of Tennessee in the USA as a part of a student exchange program.
Neroli Meadows started her career as a weekend sports producer at Perth Radio Station 6PR in the year 2006. Then she moved on to TV and spent four years as a sports reporter on Today Tonight at the Seven Network. She was also a panel member on AFL show Before the Game on the Network Ten and appeared on a couple of Football based comedy shows as well.
In 2017, she joined Fox Footy’s first AFL women’s commentary team. Along with that, she signed up for Triple M for its AFL and Cricket coverage. She also started hosting National Basketball League (NBL)’s 2017-18 season on Fox Sports. She was the face of Game Day Live on Fox Sports during that time and spoke to a number of Australian sportspeople. In 2018, she hosted Fox Footy program On the Mark along with Sarah Jones and Kelli Underwood.
In February 2019, Neroli Meadows joined hands with Nine Network for its revamped AFL Footy show but the show was forced into cancellation after just seven episodes due to very poor response. In October 2019, Fox Sports terminated the contract with Neroli Meadows in a shocking move. Fox Sports sighted the reason for cost-cutting behind the move.
In 2020, she rejoined Nine Network and covered Australian Open and Brisbane International Open in January. A month later, she was in Miami to cover Super Bowl LIV for ESPN Australia. Another feather in her cap was added in 2020 when Star Sports India brought her on board for the coverage of Indian Premier League’s 2020 edition in UAE. It was in continuation to her experience in the cricket broadcasting as she has previously hosted Big Bash League, Ashes & India’s tour of Australia in 2018-19.
During the lockdown in 2020, she launched her own podcast ‘Ordineroli Speaking’ where she shares the stories of various Australian sportspersons by inviting them on the podcast.
