In what is one of IPL’s most-watched fixture every season, Chennai Super Kings take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium later today. As unlikely as 2020 has been, RCB are in with a chance to pretty much end CSK’s hopes in the tournament at the halfway mark itself. Chennai Super Kings have managed just two wins from six games and sit behind RCB with 4 points. RCB have 3 wins from five games, but still haven’t improved their NRR, which is the worst of all 8 sides. CSK vs RCB My11Circle Team will hugely rely on how the two Indian captains perform. Both haven’t really been at par with their standards, but will know how crucial they’ll be if they’re to see their side home.

Chennai will more or less feel they are having the right combination. With Dwayne Bravo coming in and delivering what he does every season, the problems for CSK seemed to have lessen a bit. The concern for them continues to be their bowling attack, which has failed to remain consistent. CSK Predicted XI MS Dhoni (C & WK) Shane Watson Faf du Plessis Kedar Jadhav Ravindra Jadeja Ambati Rayudu Sam Curran Dwayne Bravo Deepak Chahar Karn Sharma Shardul Thakur
Bangalore will breathe a sigh of relief as Chris Morris is reported match-fit. No other changes are expected apart from Morris coming in for Moeen Ali. RCB Predicted XI Virat Kohli (C) Ab de Villiers (WK) Aaron Finch Devdutt Padikkal Chris Morris Shivam Dube Washington Sundar Isuru Udana Mohammad Siraj/Gurkeerat Singh Mann Navdeep Saini Yuzvendra Chahal

Let’s look at the IPL 2020 CSK vs RCB My11Circle Prediction now followed by a few stats and observations explaining each pick WK: Ab de Villiers, MS Dhoni BAT: Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Ambati Rayudu, Faf du Plessis ALL: Dwayne Bravo (VC), Sam Curran, Chris Morris BLR: Yuzvendra Chahal (C), Isuru Udana SUBS: Aaron Finch(S4), Washington Sundar(S3), Shivam Dube(S2), Shane Watson(S1)
MS Dhoni and Ab de Villiers, both start for us as they both are expected to be pivotal with the bat, and with the gloves behind the wickets as well. Ab de Villiers has 155 runs in 5 innings and averages over 51, which tells he has watched RCB through whenever they’ve needed him. MS Dhoni has 102 runs so far this season, but hasn’t really got going in any game. He will be poised to get going today if CSK’s need for a good finisher is not answered by anyone else.
In a batting line-up built around Virat Kohli, Ab de Villiers, and Aaron Finch, it has been a young Indian talent that has stood out as RCB’s top-scorer. Devdutt Padikkal’s emergence at the top of RCB’s batting line-up has been one of the primary reasons for their success this campaign. He will be likely to make some runs today as well. Kohli’s return to form still looks a bit rusty, but is still good enough to make it to out CSK vs RCB My11Circle Team. Faf du Plessis has 299 runs to his name from 6 innings, and is only behind KL Rahul in the Orange Cap race. The last of our four batsmen is Ambati Rayudu, who gets a nod over Shane Watson. Rayudu has been in an on and off kind of a form. He definitely will be out to prove a point when he bats against RCB. We do expect a 20+ runs innings from him.
Dwayne Bravo has 3 wickets to his name, but hasn’t batted in the 3 games he has played so far. With CSK consistently experimenting with their batting line-up, Bravo might have a crack today with the bat as well. Chris Morris returns from his injury and looks poised to have an instant impact. Sam Curran too joins our team on the back of his strike rate of 226.66 and his 7 wickets. Curran, expected to deliver with both bat and ball, is also our vice-captain.
We have space left only for two bowlers, one of whom also captains our CSK vs RCB My11Circle Team. Yuzvendra Chahal has been absolutely sensational and has been pivotal in making RCB a better side this season. With the game at Dubai again, he will be backing himself to pick-up another wicket or two. The other bowler we’ve picked is Isuru Udana. The Sri Lankan has been economical while also chipping in with wickets at the right interval.
