Ross Taylor is a prolific New Zealand Cricketer who has batted mostly at Number 4 during his illustrious career was a legendary Test cricketer who played for New Zealand. Taylor became New Zealand’s highest ODI century maker and broke the record of Nathan Astle on February 2017, after smashing his 17th ODI century for the black caps.
Ross Taylor was the skipper of his U-19 side in youth internationals. He holds a record of highest List A score of 132* in the State Shield domestic One-day competitions and a first-class record score of 290 against Australia in the 2015-16 Trans-Tasman Trophy Test series.
Taylor made his debut on 1 March 2006 in an ODI against the Windies. He also became of Samoan heritage to play for the national side. He scored only 15 runs in the first match, where New Zealand finally won the match by 91 runs.
