SA vs PAK Dream11: It was so near yet so far for the Proteas who slumped to their second successive defeat against Pakistan by 4 wickets to Flag-off the 4-match T20I series with a win.
A monumental fifty from wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan and a breezy 30 off 14 deliveries from Faheem Ashraf helped Pakistan chased down 188 with 4 wickets in hand and a ball to spare. Earlier in the match, it was a combined effort from Aiden Markram and skipper Heinrich Klaasen who scored a fifty each to help South Africa score a fabulous 188 for the loss of 6 wickets.
The bowling from either side was pretty ordinary, however, spinners from either side i.e., Mohammad Nawaz from Pakistan and Tabraiz Shamsi from South Africa were the standout performers scalping 2 wickets each. It was a commendable effort from both teams and the same could be expected heading into the second game which will be played at this very venue. Who will come up good in this crucial fixture? We will have to patiently wait and see.
