England vs Pakistan 1st ODI Live: England are currently facing Pakistan in the first of the three-match ODI series at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. England’s newly named ODI captain Ben Stokes has won the toss and opted to bowl first.
England fast bowler Saqib Mahmood got his team off to an incredible start. Saqib first bowled a beautiful delivery to trap Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq on the very first ball of the match. The right-arm speedster then got the better of Pakistan captain Babar Azam just on the third ball of the first over of this 1st ODI. The English team and the crowd got pumped up as Saqib Mahmood picked up 2 wickets in the first three balls of the game.

Pakistan find themselves in absolute tatters as they have been reduced to 26 for 4 in just 7 overs. Saqib has bowled remarkably well so far dismissing the trio of Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel. Earlier, England named as many as five debutants in their playing 11 namely Zak Crawley, John Simpson, Lewis Gregory, Brydon Carse and Philip Salt. On the other hand, Saud Shakeel is making his ODI debut for Pakistan in this 1st ODI against England.
