The NBA is back as the Summer League has reached past its midway point. In this game, the Phoenix Suns will play against the Portland Trailblazes. More about PHX vs POR Dream 11 will be given below.
Suns and Trailblazers have both made Playoffs last season and while Suns are not going to go through a roster overhaul, the Trailblazers seems keen to look at some of the players in the Summer League roster, that is full of veterans who have been proven starters such as Beasley, Faried, Mudiay. For Suns, the Summer League is more about the development of their young players such as Jalen Smith and Ty-Shon Alexander. Predicting a lineup is difficult in the Summer League as coaches move the pieces around and allot varied playing times. The point of Summer League is about identifying the talent more than winning the game although a hooper is always looking to guide the team home.
Match Timing: 15 August, @ 06:30 AM Venue: Cox Pavilion, Las Vegas
The contest will take place at Cox Pavilion which is one of the designated spots for basketball matches in the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League.

Jalen Smith (last match stats) Points: 21 Rebounds: 11 Assists: 01
Antonio Blakeney (last match stats) Points: 15 Rebounds: 02 Assists: 01
1. Antonio Blakeney Points: 13 Rebounds: 06 Assists: 01 Blakeney is a guard with a scorer’s mentality. He has multiple ways to dissect a defense and uses his criss-cross game effectively to either finish inside or nail some jumpers. He even had a game where locked up 20 points in a row so the defenses should be careful with him around. Antonio is a candidate as the Super-Player in the Dream11 Fantasy basketball scenario.
2. Jalen Smith Points: 21 Rebounds: 11 Assists: 01 Smith is also known as “Stix” and has an athletic game. He runs the floor well and can finish inside with a flair. Jalen has also improved his rebounding game and shows the willingness to attempt long-range jumpers too. Smith can be chosen as a Pro-Player in the Dream 11 Fantasy scenario.
3. Michael Beasley Points: 09 Rebounds: 01 Assists: 01 Beasley was touted as the “next superstar” at one point in his career and even has had a 20+ PPG season in the league. However, he has not been primetime for years but has the humility to come back and play in the Summer League which shows he is still hungry.
4. Ty-Shon Alexander Points: 07 Rebounds: 00 Assists: 01 Tyshon tends to shoot the ball from long range and has an admirable shooting stroke. He may not get many minutes in the regular rotation this Regular Season considering the backcourt talent of the Suns so these are precious games for him.
5. Emmanuel Mudiay Points: 06 Rebounds: 04 Assists: 02 Emmanuel was also once hailed as the next great PG and surely has an excellent court vision, however, it seems as his skill set doesn’t flow with many teams in the League. Will the former lottery pick win a roster spot?
6. Kyle Alexander Points: 15 Rebounds: 08 Assists: 01
7. Kenneth Faried Points: 06 Rebounds: 05 Assists: 00
8. Jaleen Smith Points: 15 Rebounds: 08 Assists: 07
