WNBA features a diverse athletic talent that goes through years of basketball training in school, college, and then at the professional level. Here, league-worst Indiana Fever takes on a surging Phoenix Mercury with Playoffs just a few weeks away. More information about IND vs PHO Dream11 will be imparted here.
Fever: Indiana Fever is the worst defensive team in the league and the second-worst offensive team in the league with a defensive rating of 108.1 and an offensive rating of 95.9. Surely a combination of poor defense and offense means they are also the team with the worst record in the league. The Mitchell duo of Kelsey and Tifanny are left to do a lot as the rest of the team is not up to the mark on a regular basis and the team is in a rebuild mode.
Mercury: On the other hand, Mercury showed in the last match-up against the struggling Fever that they have a lot of ways to destroy teams as Griner’s inside game and Kia Nurse’s outside game punctuated the win. Then the sturdy defense and intelligent players such Skylar Diggins and Diana Taurasi make life hell at both ends. Mercury has one of the slowest paces in the league but their half-court execution makes up for it and that is why they are on a nine-game win streak.

(Last Match Stats)
Skylar Diggins-Smith Points: 14 Rebounds: 01 Assists: 04 Skylar won the Player of the Week honors last week and has looked in subliminal touch. Her ability to hit loopy jumpers along with a change of direction accompanied with a terrific hang time make her a complete weapon on offense. She uses penetration dribbles to finish inside, hit mid-rangers, and also can rain it from deep. She can also play off the ball and is a terrific passer. Diggins-Smith is averaging an impressive 19.0 PPG, 5.3 APG, and 3.4 RPG.
Kelsey Mitchell Points: 18 Rebounds: 02 Assists: 02 Mitchell is a player with a scoring mentality and it comes as no surprise as she has multiple ways to kill a defense. She can shoot over taller defenders, ringing it from deep, and also finish inside using crafty moves. Kelsey is averaging 16.7 PPG leading her team in points.
Brittney Griner Points: 22 Rebounds: 05 Assists: 01 Briner is one of the tallest players in the league and knows how to use her size. The athletic big is more than about size and also presents other tools in her arsenal. She can post-up in face-up situations, using pump fakes, change of feet movements to create separation while she can also get on the low-block and get a great position to finish at the rim. Griner is also an excellent rebounder and shot-blocker making her a two-way threat. Brittney is averaging 20.7 PPG, 9.4 RPG, and 2.0 BPG.
Teaira McCowan Points: 06 Rebounds: 08 Assists: 00 McCowan leads the Fever in rebounding and she is well-adept at using her frame to play tough inside defense while being an effective scorer inside. She has also led the team in win-shares and is a double-double threat on most nights. She was in foul trouble all game long against Phoenix and will need to be on the floor to counter a power-packed Brittney Griner. Teaira is averaging 11.3 PPG, 9.3 RPG, and 1.3 BPG.
Diana Taurasi Points: 02 Rebounds: 02 Assists: 07 Taurasi had an off-game against Fever the last time but the veteran is important for Mercury’s success as a leader. Her playing style hasn’t changed much since she entered the league in 2004 and her ability to use her shoulders to create separation allows her to shoot tough jumpers and lay-ups. She can finish with either hand, plays tough team defense, can rebound the ball, and is also a playmaker. The perennial superstar is averaging 15.5 PPG, 4.9 APG, and 4.6 RPG.
Tiffany Mitchell Points: 17 Rebounds: 02 Assists: 02 Mitchell has a quick first step and gets to the rim using crossover moves and her lower body balance. She has struggled to shoot from three with just 25.6% but is well versed at getting to the line and finishing against taller defenders. Mitchell is averaging 12.0 PPG.
Kia Nurse Points: 14 Rebounds: 04 Assists: 02 Averaging 9.2 PPG and 3.6 RPG.
Lindsay Allen Points: 06 Rebounds: 02 Assists: 03 Averaging 4.0 PPG.
