The WNBA regular season has entered a crucial phase only two spots remain for the Playoffs. In this game, a desperate Dallas Wings outfit fights it out against the league’s best Connecticut Sun. Here is everything you want to know about DAL vs CON Dream11 Match Prediction.
Wings: Dallas plays mostly a half-court style game ranking ninth in pace at 77.6. Their offense relies heavily upon Arike Ogunbowale and Chelsea Gray while Isabell Harrison has shown a lot of heart this year. Wings need to clamp it on defense and enter the game after losing against a struggling Dream. This is going to be a tough match-up for the game as Jonquel Jones and Brionna Jones are surrounded by shooters like DeWanna Bonner which is going to pose defensive difficulties.
Sun: Connecticut is the best team in the league record-wise and it is their defense that can present huge challenges as they only allow a league-best 71.3 PPG. They have the slowest pace in the league at 74.0 but they have such great half-court players in Bonner, Jonequel, and Brionna that they can outmatch their opponents playing a slower style of basketball. Sun also allows the least number of second-chance opportunities and is a tough team to play against.
Host: Dallas Wings Visitors: Connecticut Sun Match Timing: 8 September, @ 05:30 AM Venue: College Park Center

*stats from last game*
Jonquel Jones Points: 31 Rebounds: 14 Assists: 01 PPG: 20.3 RPG: 11.0 SPG: 1.4 BPG: 1.1 Jones is a nightmare to deal with at both ends of the floor. She is an excellent shooter from the outside and uses her long wingspan to charge in the paint and create chances. She has an excellent dribbling game and she can also get in low-post, face-up, and dribble-drive situations, making her a cheat code on offense. Jonquel leads the league in rebounding and displays dominance on the defensive end.
Arike Ogunbowale Points: 21 Rebounds: 02 Assists: 01 PPG: 19.1 APG: 3.4 RPG: 3.2 SPG: 1.1 Arike is the ace scorer of the Wings team and leads them in scoring. She has an excellent shooting touch but her driving game and mid-range abilities are equally impressive. She can score both off the dribble off the catch. Her defense is a work in progress and she has a tendency to leave her match-up open at times.
DeWanna Bonner Points: 07 Rebounds: 03 Assists: 05 PPG: 15.8 RPG: 6.9 APG: 3.5 SPG: 1.3 Bonner is a terrific SF and forms the most imposing Frontline in the league with Jonquel Jones and Brionna Jones. She has a scoring mentality and uses her athleticism to either finish inside but can also shoot from outside. She is also an excellent rebounder, playmaker, and defender giving Sun enormous help on both sides.
Allisha Gray Points: 10 Rebounds: 14 Assists: 00 PPG: 11.8 RPG: 5.0 SPG: 1.0 Gray is a multi-dimensional offensive player at the guard position and her poise enables her to be an effective scorer. She is also an excellent rebounder and has played some exceptional basketball as of late for the Wings.
Brionna Jones Points: 22 Rebounds: 10 Assists: 04 PPG: 14.8 RPG: 7.3 SPG: 1.3 Brionna gets a brilliant low-post position and is one of the best paint scorers in the league while also shooting well within the mid-range area. She can use her frame to seal off defenders and get easy looks at the rim, allowing her to shoot 57% from the floor while she can also rack up second-chance points with her drive to get the boards. Her defense and tenacious rebounding abilities make her a tough player.
Marina Mabrey Points: 08 Rebounds: 01 Assists: 01 PPG: 12.8 RPG: 3.7 SPG: 1.0 Mabrey is an impressive long-range shooter and has shot 35% from deep. She is a streak player and works in extremes usually, either getting heated and racking up points in a flurry or going cold all night. She has seen reduced minutes lately but keeps defenses busy with her shooting abilities.
Jasmine Thomas Points: 07 Rebounds: 03 Assists: 06 PPG: 10.8 APG: 4.2 SPG: 1.4
Kayla Thornton Points: 06 Rebounds: 09 Assists: 00 PPG: 7.4 RPG: 5.8
