SCO vs ZIM Dream11 Prediction: Scotland will take on Zimbabwe in the third and final T20I at The Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh on Sunday. Zimbabwe did well to come back and level the series 1-1 with a ten-run win on Friday. The visitors will want to produce another strong performance and take the series win when they meet again for the decider.
Zimbabwe did well to maintain their motivation levels after a disappointing defeat in the first T20I as they came back to level the series on Friday. The Zimbabwean batsmen struggled with the exception of Sean Williams and Craig Ervine but the team came up with a combined bowling effort. The likes of Tendai Chatara, Richard Ngarava and Wellington Masakadza also got two wickets as Zimbabwe bowled out Scotland for 126.
Everything will be on the line in the third and final T20I on Sunday as the series is level at 1-1 as of now. The series has been low scoring with Scotland winning the first match by seven runs while Zimbabwe registered a ten-run victory in the second game. Despite superb bowling, question marks have been raised on the batsmen due to poor shot selection.

Pitch Report: The pitches in this series have been very tricky for the batsmen. This is reflected in the first innings scores of 141 and 136 which have been defended successfully too. The ball hasn’t come onto the bat and this has brought both the spinners and pacers into the equation.
Brief score of the last result at the venue: Zimbabwe (136/5) beat Scotland (126/10) by ten runs on 17 Sep 2021
Given how close the series has been so far, it wouldn’t be wise to totally favour one side and go with a 7-4 combination. We will go with a 6-5 build in favour of Scotland primarily due to their better batting prowess. On the other hand, the bowling set-up will be dominated by Zimbabwe as a number of players have performed well.
WICKET-KEEPER: Matthew Cross BATSMEN: Kyle Coetzer, Craig Ervine, George Munsey ALL-ROUNDERS: Richie Berrington, Safyaan Sharif, Sean Williams BOWLERS: Alasdair Evans, Tendai Chatara, Richard Ngarava, Wellington Masakadza
Bowlers have ruled the roost in this T20I series with most of them looking threatening. On the other hand, it has been largely the experienced campaigners like Richie Berrington and Sean Williams who have been among the rare ones to score some runs. Zimbabwe will head into this decider with some edge after defending a score of 136 in the second game.
Surprisingly, Scotland’s top-order batting which is usually their strength hasn’t worked so far in this series. However, the likes of George Munsey, Kyle Coetzer and Matthew Cross should still be backed as they are proven performers. Apart from this trio, the likes of Richie Berrington, Safyaan Sharif and Alasdair Evans are obvious picks.
Experienced seamer Safyaan Sharif has to be definitely considered as a top pick even though he went wicket-less in the second T20I. Safyaan still managed to bowl economically and build pressure on the Zimbabwean batsmen. His batting ability is also something that can’t be ignored.
Veteran all-rounder Richie Berrington did well once again in the second match as he made a 42-run knock albeit in a losing cause. Berrington had played a huge part in Scotland’s victory in the first game by making a superb 82-run knock. It remains to be seen whether Scotland use him more with the ball

Expected Team Changes
SCO Playing 11 (likely)
Zimbabwe’s young batsmen have struggled through this European tour and it wouldn’t be wise to pick them now. Only Sean Williams and Craig Ervine can be preferred while the trio of Tendai Chatara, Richard Ngarava and Wellington Masakadza also make the side. The three bowlers impressed in the second T20I as Zimbabwe mounted a comeback to level the series 1-1.
Experienced seamer Tendai Chatara has led the Zimbabwean bowling attack from the front in the absence of the talented Blessing Muzarabani. Chatara took two wickets in the second T20I while he also came up with two scalps in the first game. The 30-year-old needs to be on top of his game once again if Zimbabwe want to win the series on Sunday.
Former captain Sean Williams is also a key player for Zimbabwe who are also known as the ‘Chevrons’. Sean starred for Zimbabwe in the second T20I with an unbeaten 60-run knock and one wicket. The all-rounder has made 88 runs in the series so far and continues to be a reliable run-scorer.
