Lendl Simmons (West Indies Cricketer)
The nephew of former West Indian all-rounder Phil Simmons, Lendl Simmons is best remembered for his 51-ball-82 to knock India out of the 2016 World Twenty 20. A brutal hitter of a cricket ball and a consistent performer for Trinidad and Tobago, Simmons represented the West Indies in two U-19 World Cups- 2002 and 2004.
Smith first came into the reckoning when he scored a blazing 282 against the visiting English Lions in 2009 earning a call-up to the senior side for the 5-match series against the senior England side but failed to replicate his performance.
Interestingly, he remains more prolific performer in the shortest format of the game. In 2014, he was named as the replacement for injured Jalaj Saxena and scored a staggering 490 runs for the Mumbai Indians to nail down his spot in the side.
