IND Playing 11: With the series in the bag, Men in Blue will be looking for another clean sweep when they face off Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I at Dharamshala in the evening. Dominant India took an unassailable 2-0 lead on the back of a 7 wickets victory which also marked their 11th consecutive T20I win after the defeat against New Zealand in the T20 WC last year.
Chasing 184 runs target, India did face a scare after losing both the openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan inside the powerplay but Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson, and Ravindra Jadeja took India home with 2.5 overs to spare, giving a glimpse of India’s formidable middle order.
Meanwhile, India will be eying to equal the world record of most consecutive T20I wins. Afghanistan and Romania have a record of 12 consecutive T20I wins and Rohit Sharma and Co has a chance to equal the record.
