LAL vs GSW Dream11: NBA has been becoming an internationally famous league and the business model of the league has been successful in identifying basketball fans around the world its growth in the Indian subcontinent is a sign of the expanding fanbase. And why not! The league has a lot of offer in terms of sporting storylines, the narratives are built thoroughly before the season, during the season, and now as we move towards the Playoffs, it will only become intense from here on. Keeping that in mind, let us jump into the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.
The Lakers have eight more losses than wins and they have been on a four-game losing streak. They have struggled a lot when it comes to keeping up the ante against 50%+ win squads and they keep on losing their way each month. Only LeBron has been effective in terms of consistent offense but the overall roster is in disarray at this point.
On the other hand, the Golden State Warriors have been struggling lately, losing more than 75% of their games after the nine-game winning streak. And with the way teams like the Grizzlies are playing, the team can end up losing the second seed in the Conference. But they will have a huge chance against this highly vulnerable Lakers team?

Two struggling teams but one set the right tone While the post-All-Star Break has been tough on both the Lakers and the Warriors, both have set different tones from the start. While Warriors have been on lengthy winning streaks, notching victories versus elite squads and playing a high brand of basketball, the Lakers have been a sub-par squad since the beginning, they are one of those teams that came into the season with a lot of expectations set upon them but they have failed to convert even a quarter of what was expected. The Warriors have a huge chance of still finishing as the top-two team while the Lakers have been just reeling and are at the point of being thrown out of the Play-in race.
The Warriors have lost their way largely due to the absence of Draymond Green and with the intense lineup shuffles these days, their combination has been off quite a bit. With Green out, their defense has been not as intense as it was earlier and if he was present, I doubt that the Warriors would have been giving as many points as they are currently. After all, the Warriors didn’t allow 110 points in any game except one with Green in the mix. The Warriors are pushing for a title this season so yes, as Steve Kerr said, “We desperately need Draymond”.
The Lakers are also missing their superstar Forward Anthony Davis but they had been struggling to make ends meet even when he has been present. While LeBron James has been a huge presence with his ability to act as the major scorer but the team defense, conceding offensive rebounds, and a lack of hustle has been a huge problem. The Lakers’ offense has also gone off the rails, and when you are struggling on defense, you can’t afford ruptures on the offensive side of things. The major reason being the absence of Anthony Davis but more so the lack of consistent offense from Russell Westbrook and Malik Monk has also struggled quite a bit. Basically, the Lakers are a trainwreck at this point.
