Sachin Tendulkar’s wife’s name is Anjali. She was born on November 10, 1967 in a wealthy Gujarati family in Mumbai. Her mother Annabel Mehta is of British origin, however, her father Anand Mehta is from India which gave her Indian nationality. She got married to Sachin Tendulkar on May 24, 1955 after knowing each other for five years. Anjali was a doctor by profession but she sacrificed her career for her husband cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali’s elder daughter’s name is Sara Tendulkar. She was born on October 12, 1997 in Mumbai. She completed her schooling from Dhirubhai Ambani International school in Mumbai and did her graduation in Medicine from University College London (UCL). Recently, in December 2021, Sara Tendulkar made her modelling debut appearing in an ad campaign for Ajio’s new fashion division – Ajio Luxe.

Arjun Tendulkar has played club cricket in England as well before making his debut for Mumbai in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last year. Sachin Tendulkar has two half brothers – Nitin Tendulkar and Ajit Tendulkar. Nitin Tendulkar is the eldest among three brothers and is happily married as well. But there is not much information available about him.

Ajit Tendulkar is Sachin’s elder brother and the one who noticed the cricketing talent in the latter. Ajit was born in 1963 and lives in Mumbai. He is the main reason why Sachin became a cricketer. For his brother, he sacrificed his own career and didn’t get married as well. His first glimpse in public was seen only when Sachin Tendulkar released his autobiography – Playing it My Way.

Apart from two elder brothers, Sachin has an elder half- sister as well. Her name is Savita Tendulkar. Like the rest of the family, she was also a strong support to Sachin from behind the scenes. Sachin posts a photo with her generally on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Interestingly, Savita had gifted Sachin his first ever bat.

Sachin Tendulkar’s father’s name is Ramesh Tendulkar. He was a renowned novelist and a poet. Ramesh was born in Alibag and after completing his studies, worked as a professor in Kirti College. Ramesh Tendulkar passed away on May 19, 1999 due to a heart attack when Sachin was in England with the Indian team playing in the World Cup.

Sachin Tendulkar’s mother’s name is Rajni Tendulkar who was the second wife of Ramesh. She worked in an insurance company. She watched her son live in the stadium only once and that was Sachin’s last match of his career in Mumbai in a Test match against West Indies.

SRT played a whopping 200 Test matches scoring 15921 runs at an impeccable average of 53.79 with as many as 51 centuries including six double tons.

The God of Cricket, Tendulkar was the first player ever to score double hundred in ODI. In a record 463 One-Day Internationals as well and amassed 18426 runs at an average of almost 45 with 49 tons.

Sachin didn’t only change his style of play to cope up with the T20 format but also bossed it. Though he didn’t play more than a solitary T20I, Sachin featured in 78 IPL games scoring 2334 runs at an average of almost 34 and smashed a ton even in this format.
