MIN vs DAL Dream11: The WNBA is in full flow and I love this league. The narrative may be discouraging at times but many critics forget that the league has players who have gone through a rigid four-year basketball program or worked under international coaches, so yes, they know how the game is played. And in this game, the Minneosta Lynx will host the Dallas Wings as they put their skills on display.
The Lynx miss Naphessa Collier and without her, they have won just one out of their six games. In the last game, the Aces’ run-and-gun game shut them down and they lost 93:87 despite another 20 points night by Sylvia Fowles. On the other hand, the Wings have started well, winning three of their five games. They defeated the Mercury 93:84 as Arike Ogunbowale dropped 37 points. Can the Lynx get it together against the Wings here?

Lynx needs backcourt support, the Wings are too dependent on Arike
The Lynx has struggled to be effective on both ends of the floor and the major reason for that has been the lack of production from the Guard position. While McBride had a 24 in the first win of the Lynx but then had 0 points. This needs to change because even if Moriah Jefferson has been a huge factor so far, they need her. Sylvia Fowles is incredible and has been carrying the major load, however, defensively, she hasn’t gotten ample support thus far.
The Wings are overly dependent upon Arike and she is a streaky shooter. Away from home, she has continuously scored 20+ and in all those games, the Wings came on top. Marina Mabrey has been consistent, Allisha Gray has done her bit while Harrison and Thornton form a strong frontline. The bench is not producing enough and the Wings are a typical case of streaky shooting, but the defense has shown a ton of promise. Satou Sabally’s return will only improve the team’s bench as someone among starter will come off the bench.
