Portugal, who has already qualified for the 2022 World Cup, will take on South Korea on Friday in an effort to claim first place in Group H. South Korea must defeat the European nation to have any hope of making it to the round of 16, but Fernando Santos’ team merely needs a point to guarantee to finish first in their division.

Injury Report, Unavailability, Expected Changes and Strategy
Due to a hamstring issue, Hwang Hee-chan has been inactive for South Korea so far in the tournament, and the forward is still a big question mark for Friday’s match.
Son Heung-min, 30, will start for Bento’s team in this game and is expected to earn his 107th cap for the national team. Kim Min-jae of Napoli will line up in the middle of the defence.
The South Korean starting lineup will once again be led by Cho Gue-sung, who scored twice against Ghana the last time they played. Kwon Chang-hoon should keep his spot in the wide position.
Hwang At-beom should have his own space in the park’s centre.

Goalkeeper: Diogo Costa
Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Ruben Dias, Kim Min-jae, Kim Jin-su
Midfielders: Bernardo Silva (Vice captain), Joao Palhinha, Lee Kang-in
Attackers: Son Heung-min, Cristiano Ronaldo (Captain), Cho Gue-sung.
Cristiano Ronaldo will undoubtedly be the favourite to score the points, given the fact that he is also Portugal’s designated penalty taker. The top 3 players to watch out for are Ronaldo, Silva and Gue-sung.
South Korea is yet to win a game this World Cup while Portugal has won both its games.
However, Portugal is going to have a difficult time in this game since South Korea will have to put in a lot of effort to win. There is little doubt that Bento’s team is capable of winning, but Portugal has the better team overall, thus we anticipate that they will advance to nine points in the group.
