IPL 2023 Match List Date Time Table: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is back with a bang, featuring ten teams that will be fighting for the ultimate title. The BCCI has officially released the IPL 2023 schedule match list date and time table, so let’s take a closer look.
The tournament will kick off on March 31, 2023, and the final league game will conclude on June 4, 2023. The opening match of the season will see Gujarat Titans, the defending champions, take on MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings. The first match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The tournament will feature two groups, each comprising five teams. Group A comprises Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and the newly formed Lucknow Super Giants. On the other hand, Group B includes Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Gujarat Titans.
Each team will play 14 games – seven at home and seven away. The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, consisting of two qualifiers, an eliminator, and the final. The final league game of the season will take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 21, 2023, between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
