Joe Root scored a crisp 57 in the 2nd innings if the first test. He got out playing a rash shot in the first innings but was looking very good till that point in time
James Anderson finished with 7 wickets in the first test. He gave Ben Stokes crucial breakthroughs whenever England needed it. He is the best fast bowler in the world and there are no two ways about it.
