Team India will continue their preparations for this year’s all-important 50-overs World Cup scheduled to be played at home. On the other hand, India also had a brilliant start to the 2023 calendar year with convincing back-to-back ODI series victories against Sri Lanka and New Zealand at home.

However, it is still unclear as to when will the 28-year-old be able to recover completely from the injury. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to name a replacement in the India ODI squad for the Australia ODI series.
