This also means that senior cricketer David Warner has not yet attained complete fitness after sustaining a fracture on his elbow during the second Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 in India. In his absence, the Aussie team management promoted Mitchell Marsh at the top of the order and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Marsh stamped his authority against the Indian bowling attack with a brilliant innings of 81 runs off 65 balls that included as many as 10 fours and 5 sixes.
